What is Google Play?

Google decided to no longer use the name of Android Market as their digital service. Instead the Internet giant launched "Google Play".

The name of Android Market is identical to Android users. This makes Google to abandon the name.

According to Chris Yerga, Google Engineering Director of  use of the name of Google Play aims also to get a warm welcome at the outside of Android users.

Google Play will serve as the center of Google's digital service. In it are contained Play Store to replace the Google Android Market, then there is also a facility to buy digital books, music, movies and streaming content.

More fun again you do not required Android device if you just want to watch movies or listen to songs. You only need a browser.

Quoted from the official Google blog Wednesday (07.03.2012), the facility is in Google Play will also be different in some countries. In America all the facilities can be used, in Canada and the United Kingdom only music, books and applications.

While in Japan only film and applications, as well as in Australia which could only use the digital books and applications.
