Casey Anthony was indicted on charges of first degree murder and plead not guilty, on October 14, 2008. Caylee's skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area near the family home on December 11, 2008. The prosecution sought the death penalty and the trial lasted for six weeks. On July 5, 2011, the jury found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of a child, but guilty of four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Anthony received a sentence of one year in county jail and a $1,000 fine for each count. With credit for time served and good behavior, she was released on July 17, 2011.

Casey Anthony will not be doing any interviews with any network. For now, at least. Casey instead will be seeking professional treatment for serious mental issues.

Sources say that Casey finally realizes that her behavior was both questionable and bizarre when her daughter Caylee went missing in 2008.

Three main reasons for the professional help will be for her “obvious mental issues,” coping with the “obvious trauma of losing her child,” and the the fact that spending nearly three years in jail in solitary confinement “messed with her head.”

It’s obvious to most that Casey DOES have serious mental issues and definitely needs to get help. Big time.
